B.A. Art

B.A. Art

The B.A. in Art is an excellent program for students interested in more than one discipline and want to combine studies in art with another area of interest. All Studio areas of study and Art History courses are available to students in the B.A. in Art; this program does not require a thesis exhibition.

The B.A. in Art requires a minor.  By pairing this major with an appropriate minor, the B.A. in Art is a versatile degree that aligns students’ interests and can prepare students for a range of career paths. For example, students interested in working as an art buyer might combine the B.A. in Art with a minor in business. Students interested in smart textiles might combine the B.A. in Art with a minor in chemistry or a minor in fashion merchandising.  Students interested in working in outdoor education might combine the B.A. in Art with a minor in Outdoor Recreation Leadership.
