School of Art and Design
Many Programs, One Purpose
Housed in the Joann Cole Mitte and Sabinal buildings, five diverse programs cross-pollinate, compelling students in the School of Art and Design to search for deeper connections between disciplines. Our students invest holistically in their own education, providing a model for other regional and national art and design programs.

Undergraduate Programs
The School of Art and Design fosters creative and scholarly activities that develop students' conceptual and technical abilities and encourages visually articulate backgrounds. The School offers six major and two minor undergraduate programs of study.

Graduate Program
The Master of Fine Arts in Communication Design is a pioneering low-residency program that emphasizes conceptual thinking, experimentation, and investigation.
