Guest designers join each residency to lead workshops and give keynote lectures about their work. Recent guests include Lope Gutierrez-Ruiz from In-House Intl. Creative, Jimmy Luu, Yocelyn Riojas, Shruthi Balakrishna, and Karol Murlak.
What is the MFA Residency?
The program provides hybrid courses that allow for a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online learning with a required multiple-day residency each semester. The residency enables students to study with highly-acclaimed international and national experts in the communication design field. Furthermore, it provides in-person educational and community-building opportunities that enhance the flexibility of the online learning experience.
