Art & Design has scholarship opportunities in all specializations and at every level. Students may apply for as many scholarships as they qualify for.

- 502 BFA Communication Design Scholarship
  
  Open to all qualified part time and full time Communication Design majors (including Pre-ComDes). The 502 BFA Communication Design Scholarship is awarded based on demonstrated achievement in Communication Design, extracurricular activities, and financial need.
- Art Department Endowed Scholarship
  
  Open to qualified students pursuing a major in the School of Art & Design who have completed at least 60 credit hours.
- Art Department Endowment for Art History Majors
  
  Open to qualified full time Art History majors who have completed at least 60 credit hours. The Art Department Endowment for Art History for Art History Majors is awarded based on achievement in Art History.
- Barbara Ann Shimkus Scholarship
  
  Open to all qualified Art & Design students majoring in Communication Design in their junior or senior year. The award is made based on creative promise and ability as well as general scholarly merit.
- College of Fine Arts Scholarship
  
  Open to all Art & Design students who have declareda major in the School of Art & Design. The College of Fine Arts Scholarship is awarded to students based on achievement in the fields of art or design.
- Communication Design Scholarship
  
  Open to all qualified full time Communication Design majors in their junior or senior years. The ComDes Scholarship is awarded based on demonstrated achievements in ComDes extra curricular activities and financial need.
- Dr. Frances Henry Endowed Art Education Scholarship
  
  Open to all qualified Art Education majors. The Dr. Frances Henry Endowed Art Education Scholarship is awarded based on creative and/or scholarly work, general scholastic merit, and financial need.
- Endowed Scholarship for Studio Art Majors
  
  Open to qualified students pursuing a BFA Studio degree with an emphasis on painting. The Endowed Scholarship in Studio Art is awarded based primarily on creative work with financial need as a secondary consideration.
- Herman Casey Memorial Funds in Sculpture Scholarship
  
  Open to all qualified full time Art & Design majors. Preference is given to students with focused study in the field of sculpture and volunteer participation in community service or mentorship.
- Louise Echkard McGegee Endowed Scholarship
  
  Open to all qualified full-time Art & Design majors in the junior or senior year . Students who receive the scholarship in the junior year may reapply in the senior year.
- Mesquite Association Scholarship
  
  Open to all Art & Design majors who work primarily with wood as an artistic medium, and who have an interest in teaching. The Mesquite Association Scholarship is awarded to students based on achievement in the field of woodworking.
- Visual Arts Scholarship
  
  Open to qualified full-time students enrolled in Art Photography, or Design. The Visual Arts Scholarship is awarded to students based on demonstrated achievements in the fields of art or design
